Holiday Recipe for Bourbon Balls

Here’s a favorite Christmas treat that’s always a hit on my gift trays.

One box of vanilla wafers (12 oz.)

1 Cup pecans

¾  Cup of powdered sugar

1 Tbl. cocoa

2 ½ Tbl. light corn syrup

½ Cup bourbon

extra powdered sugar

Crumble the vanilla wafers and set aside in large bowl. Finely chop or grind the pecans. Combine dry ingredients, mix well. Combine corn syrup and bourbon. Pour corn syrup and bourbon mixture and pour over dry ingredients. Mix together. Form into balls about an inch across. Roll in extra powdered sugar

BTW, there’s also a free book and cookbook offered under FREEBIES on my blog.
