Welcome Author Heather Geoffries

My guest author today is Heather Geoffries whose hot debut novel, Nordic Prince, is scheduled for release in February by Carnal Passions, an imprint of Champagne Book Group.

Thank you for having me Rita!   Hello everyone. I was asked to share a nummy holiday recipe with you and after much debate I decided to share my family’s traditional hot Christmas punch/wassail.Every Christmas for as long as I can remember my parents have made the Christmas punch and now that I have my own family I make it every December as well. Oh, the aroma that permeates every nook and cranny of our home, not only causes ones mouth to water instantly but also adds that touch of Christmas. As a side note: the punch is also good for helping you fight off illness. With the variety of juices and spices, it’s crammed packed with vitamin C and other antioxidants.

Christmas Punch/Wassail

Here are the Ingredients you will need:
1 can or 48 oz bottle of Apple Juice          1 bottle of Apricot juice (this can sometimes be difficult to find)
1 can or 48 oz bottle of Orange juice         1 bottle of Pineapple juice
6 Cinnamon sticks                                        4-5 Whole cloves
1-2 cups of Light brown sugar

*For those who are inclined you can add Alcohol and make it real Fun. I recommend Drambui–it is a sweet smooth liquor
You will need a large pot or a deep kettle.

Pour all four juices into the pot. Next add the six cinnamon sticks, the 4-5 cloves (depends on preference. I recommend trying 4 first then add one if you want a little more zing), and the 1-2 cups of brown sugar (again, depending on preference. Each person likes different levels of sweetness. I usually use 1 cup.). Then bring the Punch to a boil, stirring occasionally. After it boils turn down to a simmer and cover. *add alcohol at your own discretion.
Then scoop out the delicious brew into Holiday cups–or regular cups and carefully sip because it will be extremely hot.  * Whenever you add new ingredients bring it to a boil again to mix the flavors.*  You can either leave it simmering on the stove–If you keep it hot, it doesn’t go bad.  But if you’re nervous about that, you can store it in a closed container (I use coffee jars) in the fridge and microwave it per cup afterwards. I guarantee you’ll enjoy the wassail and your house will smell delectable.  Enjoy!!

(An M/M erotic romance)

Non-realistic 3D render of a cruise ship. When Doctor Steven Mills is dragged onto The Nordic Prince for fun in the sun by his sister, Amanda, he is certain he will be miserable. Until he meets Erik.

Erik is fun, exciting and just what the doctor ordered. Some drinks and dancing with him are more enticing to Steven than any date he’s gone on with women. Before long, the two escape the busy dance floor for the quiet—and private—spa where Eric works on Steven’s body with very skilled hands. Steven is overcome with an onslaught of new emotions and sensations and has the best sexual experience of his life.

Now Steven must wrestle with new feelings and desires and make a decision that could change his life forever.

Merry Christmas.

  1. That hot punch sounds delicious. I’ve had something similar before but I couldn’t remember the recipe. I’ll have to try this.
    Happy Holidays!
