Henry Ford’s Business Model – Fordisms

“Fordism” was the mass production of inexpensive goods with high wages for workers.  In 1913 to increase efficiency and lower costs, Ford introduced moving assembly belts into his plants where the vehicles were assembled by workers who stood still while belts moved through the  assembly line.
